Kidnapping of Doctor Tarnis (talk - history - links - logs)
When I first saw that Cade was going to create this article, I was suspicious of its notability. It reminded me of the House Palpatine massacre, deleted becauseof an unfortunate infobox template choice and that it was an important event in the life of Palpatine, but one that was determined as not being notable enough in a galaxy-at-large sense. It was specific to Palpatine. Doctor Tarnis's kidnapping was staged by Tarnis to get rid of one of his aliases and all of this information can safely rest in his article. We have only two other pages under "Kidnapping" on the Wook: Kidnapping of Commodore Solo, a redirect to a battle article, and Kidnapping on Munto Codru, apparently a canonical title for a mission that involved a lot more than just one man staging his own kidnapping. The reason I was against deleting the House Palpatine massacre was because in my opinion it was a notable event in the grand scheme, not because it should have been kept because it was notable in Palpatine's life. That's why we have the character's article, not a slew of "they did this" event articles. NaruHina Talk
