Kamino (unit) (talk - history - links - logs)
This was only an error in the Encyclopedia and has been corrected by now. Therefore this article should not exist any further. Clone Commander Lee Talk 12:25, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

- Looking at the Jesse article cleared things up for me. Originally I thought that the "Kamino" could have been originally intended to a slang term for the height of a clone trooper.--Exiled Jedi

- It was cute and funny when it happened, but this was a simple error made out of someone's lack of concentration that was never meant to be canon in the first place. Per the precedent we once established here, I think we retain the ability to identify an obvious OOU blooper and treat it as such. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:00, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
- The last thing we should be doing as intelligent, common-sense writers is proliferating the official site's errors. CC7567 (talk) 21:04, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
- I'll be happy to change my vote as soon as 1.83 meters (planet) is CA'd and someone has emailed Jason Fry to have it added to the Atlas Companion. DD97Which bear is best? 15:22, November 21, 2011 (UTC)

- Starwars.com's Soviet-style revisionism cannot change the fact that it did exist. Properly labeled as such, it is no less valid than any other articles on cut content. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 13:52, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
Its not really any different than changes between the original Episode IV and the current version. If we remove this, then there is no reason why someone couldn't say that we should remove things that were in the original movie but not in the current version.--Exiled Jedi(Greetings) 14:00, November 20, 2011 (UTC)

Discussion
- Just for the purpose of discussion: This was a mistake that was corrected. Many SW books have spelling mistakes in their first editions that are later corrected, and we don't treat the original spelling mistake as canon. Kiara is not a "chud," and "Kyp Durran" is not a Jedi Master. It isn't at all analogous to Lucas's changing of the SW films... Menkooroo 14:15, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
- Exactly. I would not call this "cut content". It is a clear error which has been corrected. That's it. Clone Commander Lee Talk 14:24, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
- You're absolutely right. See my reasoning for why I voted the way I did originally.--Exiled Jedi
