Indiana (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

I kinda hate doing this because Indiana was undoubtedly a good doggo, but OOM brought her to my attention and I couldn't rationalise why she should have her own article. All the information is noted on relevant articles such as Dog/Legends, Chewbacca and George Lucas and that gorgeous photo has been reused so it can't be deleted <3

If we were to keep her, I believe this would open a can of worms as to why we don't have articles for anything that inspired the creation of IU names/things or Lucas's other pets, friends and family that have some link to Star Wars.

I'm also hesitant to use her as a redirect to either George Lucas, which shouldn't have much information on Indiana, if anything, or our IU dog articles, given she's not an IU dog. Hence I'm voting delete.

EDIT: Imp has pointed out we have From Star Wars to Indiana Jones: The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives, Indiana Jones and Indiana Jones's guide so this could be a disambig page.

#I thought you meant the state (where I was born, no less!) If so, I would have been an unequivocal “delete” vote without regret. As such, since she was a dog, I am sad to vote to delete, but I think it’s the right thing to do.   12. We don't have articles for real-world people who inspired in-universe characters but didn't actually have a hand in crafting the stories of those characters, so a pet is even further down the totem pole there. Sorry, pup! Asithol (talk) 02:56, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
