The result of the debate was no consensus; as it had no keep votes, I have merged the article. jSarek 08:44, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Flag of truce (talk - history - links - logs)
I really, really see no reason to have this. It's one of those disgustingly mundane real-world terms. Mind you, I've overlooked even more mundane things, but they were objects etc. that were seen or described in IU sources.

- I don't think this thing is even notable enough to list among phrases and slag. Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:58, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Though merging wouldn't bother me either. Green Tentacle (Talk) 13:04, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Per Graestan below. There's hyperinclusionism (Pants) and then there's ignoringcommonsensicalism. Maybe next we should have Natural leader and Plan B. Gonk (Gonk!) 12:21, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- I couldn't find "natural leader" anywhere, but viola! on the Plan B. :-D -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 22:49, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Per Gonk. Why don't we just merge every single phrase into that one page?—Darthtyler (Talk) 00:02, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- For the reasons stated above. Golden Monkey 00:47, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Merge
- Mesa say Merge it into List of phrases and slang. Mauser 06:54, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'd say merge too. It's a real-world phrase, but slightly interesting in the SW universe since it's not like they actually fly a flag. Wildyoda 17:20, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- What's next? Merge every single colloquialism that ever is mentioned in Star Wars with the list of phrases and slang? Graestan(Talk) 00:05, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Like I said, this particular one is interesting because while we actually use flags in the real world, it's not like they fly them on space ships. "Natural leader" and "Plan B" have exactly the same meaning in the SW universe as in the real one. This one doesn't. You're arguing a "slippery slope" fallacy. I'm not suggesting having every colloquialism ever used. I'm suggesting leaving this one alone, and if someone actually wrote an article for any of the other examples cited, I'd be voting to delete them. Wildyoda 23:58, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

20:45, 7 December 2008 (UTC) - If there were some more IU instances of its occurrence, I'd be happy to see it get a page. At the mo, merge. --Eyrezer 21:15, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
