this article is unnecessary, the TIE fighter article already says that they were called eyeballs because of their roundness, this is just stating the same thing. this also goes for the Predator-class fighter. in fact, the other tie slang articles like Trip and Blur are also unnecessary because they can be covered with a note on the fighter's article ASDF1239-DISCUSSION- 06:46, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

Keep
- Deleting is the last thing we should be doing with this article. At worst, it should be a disambig page, linking to TIE/ln starfighter, TIE/D Defender, and Predator-class fighter. Because the nickname is used for more than one specific fighter, the article by itself is probably fair game for keeping as is; though, with most things, I'd like to see it cleaned up and expanded. - It's also, unsurprisingly, sometimes used to mean eye. Makiing it a disambig page seems the way to go. jSarek 01:18, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

im amazed that people think this is worth keeping (while the more notable Sith Warrior (Galen Marek) isn't) when it literally consists of two statements which are already explained sufficiently in the TIE fighter and Predator-class fighter article and could be covered in one or two sentences on TIE/D Defender. i suppose a disambigulation would also work but i don't see how the tie nicknames are worthy of their own articles. Dupe, Blur, Trip, and Bright should just be redirects. ASDF1239-DISCUSSION- 01:40, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Most of the others probably should be redirects, but one or two should probably also be disambigs, as well. For instance, isn't "trip" used as a shortened version of "Triple Zero" at some point? jSarek 08:19, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
