Elvis Trooper (talk - history - links - logs)
Okay, after the recent speedy deletion of Maul Stanley as "fanon," it became apparent we needed some better precedents on what to do about fans who gain notability while portraying a character. As the Elvis Trooper seems to be a prototypical example of what we're talking about, and since he's been an article on the Wook for a while, he seems to be an ideal candidate to see where such fans/characters stand. jSarek 22:20, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

- Considering the amount of official recognition he's gotten, keep. -- Ozzel 03:02, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

- Consider me a hardliner when it comes to these "notable fans," but I just don't think dressing up in homemade suit and getting a blurb written about you on a website, be it SW.com or not, justifies making an article. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:25, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

- It's a minor miracle I know who this person is. If I'd come across it, I'd have deleted it outright as a non-notable vanity page. Graestan(Talk) 15:09, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

- Non-notable, especially as we have a 501st article in which it could easily be accommodated. With fan topics, the watchword is consolidation. Havac 21:37, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
