Air support (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

Not entirely sure if this should be deleted or not, so this is intended to initially discuss the necessity of this article. WP:Not a dictionary and the lack of a legends counterpart for something that's most likely in legends as well would suggest that this page should be deleted, but the "SW uniqueness" element that usually saves pages from deletion is also filled here arguably, as often times the air support is being brought not by atmosphere-only aircraft but starfighters instead.   5. There's no Star Wars uniqueness here that differentiates it from the real-world military counterpart in terms of definition. The fact that Star Wars stories apply unique ships and characters in its application doesn't change what air support means. As far as being a "military tactic," the concept is so basic, I don't think there's any real value to maintaining an article on those grounds.
