This NPC is just one of many randomly generated characters in SWG. StarsiderSWG 16:44, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

- Based on the helpful anon below, this character apparently does not meet criteria for canon, and unless we want to encourage the creation of hundreds of randomly generated NPCs that have no significance save that they take up space in a video game, we should probably delete this and any other such articles. - Content on Wookieepedia is meant to be verifiable. If this is a randomly generated character that appeared just once then there is no guarantee that the character will appear again, so we have no way of confirming the authenticity of this article. Anyone can make up a name, find a picture of a generic Galaxies character and create an article. --Jinzler 16:22, March 4, 2011 (UTC)
- Impossible to verify = kill the article. Master Jonathan (Council Chambers) Saturday, March 5, 2011, 02:53 UTC
- I was waiting till I could accurately explain why I would vote delete, but the anon did it for me. Kill it. OLIOSTER (talk) 03:08, March 5, 2011 (UTC)
- Per the above, and Graestan's sentiments below. NAYAYEN—it appears to be a frammistat 21:55, March 5, 2011 (UTC)
- I would just like to further explain that there are literally infinite possibilities for randomly generated NPC's in SWG. This is just one of them. Furthermore, because it only appeared on one server for a limited amount of time, it's not canon. If it showed up consistently on every server, or was part of some game questline, then maybe. - If none of the major fansites include it because the name and appearance are not consistent across servers, then it doesn't meet the existing official criteria for canon and it must die. This seems like simple logic. I would think that just knowing this would qualify it as a CSD and invalidate any keep votes based on incorrect assumptions. I'd hate to set a bad precedent here. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 18:23, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, if it's randomly generated and thus non-canon material… Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 18:29, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

It's a canon character. Can we CSD a TC? ...Or would that rip a hole in the fabric of the universe? Gah. NaruHina Talk
21:09, February 26, 2011 (UTC)Well, a TC was speedied last week, but i'd rather not initiate it. Anyway, it is a canon character.—Unsigned comment by Corellian Premier (talk • contribs) 04:30, February 27, 2011 (UTC)Completely per NaruHina. Frankly, I think any TC started where the nominator doesn't vote should be CSD'd. - JMAS

- Randomly-generated or otherwise, the character had been given a name by the programmers and thus is canon and worthy of an article. Now, if the character was some Galaxies player's character, and thus fanon, then it should be deleted. Trak Nar Ramble on 04:40, February 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Although I disagree with the comments. Sometimes you just make a TC because you want the article's existence considered, but don't feel strongly enough to vote until more knowledgeable people weigh in. Graestan(Talk) 15:39, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

- In the interests of full disclosure, Trak Nar's reasoning is not valid, as the name was not selected by any programmer and was, in fact, created by a algorithm. DD97Which bear is best? 02:04, March 9, 2011 (UTC)

Just to be clear, is this an NPC that appears on every server/galaxy? That's Leland Chee's criterion for NPC canonicity vis-à-vis Galaxies. The Architect DD97Which bear is best? 04:13, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Can't find this NPC on any of the big SWG fansites and databases. All planets in this game are populated by randomly generated NPCs. Each time the servers are restarted (3 times a week) and also when a city/area/instance is visited for the first time, the servers generate new random NPCs, with random race, gender and look. And for the first couple of years, they also had randomly generated names (not specifically chosen by the devs for this particular NPC, but randomly generated by the game from a large range of possible name parts). They changed that a couple of years ago, so nowadays most characters have generic names ("a Rebel SpecForce soldier", "an Imperial Stormtrooper", etc...), but there are still some places where such NPCs with randomly generated names are still spawned. But they certainly don't appear on every server and weren't specifically given this name by the devs. --77.23.215.24 22:08, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
