I am thinking about adding some additional features to the infoboxes:
What do you think? The bottom cell of our infoboxes currently contain only a 'hide/show' link. In this test, I have added a link to the template source and a link that allows you to quickly edit the template. I can build these extra features into Template:slh and Template:slf quite easily, but I want to get some input first. Thoughts?--Sentry Talk 03:45, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

- I kinda like it. --Xwing328(Talk) 05:37, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- The "Edit" link could be problematic; people may think that's what they click to edit the info in the box. - Lord Hydronium 05:42, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I think the 'edit' link is only a good idea on navigational templates (such as {{CIS starfighters}}) so that items can be added/removed more easily as the need arises. For infoboxes, Lord Hydronium makes a good point. RMF 17:28, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- Ya, the edit link was my major reservation about the idea. I removed it. As you said RMF, that link may be useful for nav templates, but it might cause a lot of confusion (and make a vandal's job too easy...). Still, I would like to include the 'source' link if only so that users can easily find usage instructions.–SentryTalk 21:23, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, that sounds fine to me. RMF 00:45, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, I implemented it. Soooo, if any infoboxes are rendering weird, I am probably to blame. Infoboxes on article pages might not always update properly until the page is modified. If the infobox still isn't looking right after a page save, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. :) –SentryTalk 07:09, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
