- Fan films. Wookieepedia does not cover fan films, even those recognized by Lucasfilm. This includes anything associated with the Star Wars Fan Film Awards, including the award system itself. Fan films may be more appropriate for the Star Wars Fanpedia.
For one, to be fixed regardless, that flat starwars.com link will need to be replaced with an archive since it's no longer live.
But aside from that...I don't know, honestly I kinda disagree with the "including the award system itself" bit. Individual articles on hundreds if not thousands of submitted fan films made by random people? 'No thank you. But one (1) page on that LFL ran a couple official Star Wars Fan Film Awards event (a few years worth)? I mean, the archived versions and videos illustrate this more clearly, but yeah. I guess I don't personally see a problem with having one page for the award system itself, and documenting all years of it and winners/runners up there. Because... we have pages on officially-recognized Celebration podcast hosts, and other orgs can also qualify if they are officially affiliated with LFL. And this, in relativity, seems to be above that bar.
Also...in the interest of instruction creep, need we mention "take it to Fanpedia" as many times as is there? Surely just once will do. Repeating it several times in such a short policy comes off slightly condescending: and only once is needed to make it policy-effective.
This would essentially just be removing "including the award system itself" from policy text, if it were to go to CT.—spookywillowwtalk 21:41, 7 March 2025 (UTC)

- I supposed I'd be fine with removing the award system bit, and very much agreed with removing the note about Fanpedia as well - it is in the policy's intro, after all. For the same reason we should also remove the random repeated note currently at the bottom of the policy page. Imperators II(Talk) 09:17, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
