This SNL sketch would of course be non-canon, but does it have a place in the wiki nevertheless? It seems to be officially licensed, seeing as how it uses the Star Wars name, characters and even the same actors. What do you think? Stake black msg 14:19, January 18, 2016 (UTC)
- Take it to the Fan Wiki. It serves no purpose whatsoever here. Cade

- How is the skit fundamentally different from other noncanon commercials from the past, or the Smoking PSA? It's not exactly fanon, because Saturday Night Live definitely had to pay for the rights to use the Star Wars brand, which would mean it is licensed to do so. - Who says they had to pay for the rights or that it was even officially licensed? SNL is comedy, and that skit was parody. Under fair use, parody is fair game for using copyrighted works. Lucasfilm may have had nothing to do with that. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 15:08, January 18, 2016 (UTC)
