Hi. Following Mofference 33, we've decided to remove from infoboxes the parameter that included "Members, Notable members, Notable individuals, or any similarly titled field designed to list individual examples of a given article subject". As these lists were usually large and many served as the start references, its removal left a vaccuum and many citation errors, including in various status articles. This thread is meant to raise awareness and to seek the contribution of all those willing to help fix this issue spread to thousands of articles. Priority should be given to status articles, although it's anyone's choice in which to work.
(Note: Fix references only in main article pages. Citation errors in talk pages, forum threads and user pages are not for us to fix.)

My steps
The process is fairly simple, and this is how I do it.
- Category:Pages with reference errors
- Open article
- Check which citations are giving error
- Open article's history in new tab and check the bot's latest edit (should be the most recent one)
- Edit article and press Ctrl+f (skip this step and the one below if the article is small)
- In the search bar, look for the respective broken reference (easier if you start with ")
- Fix the reference by copy+pasting the start citation from the history page
- Save page.

- I claim articles starting with C/D/E.

- Doing status articles first, the list is [[User:UberSoldat93/Workspace 4|here]]. UberSoldat93

Discussion
- I've completed removing |members from {{Religion}}, {{Organization}}, {{Military_unit}}, {{Family}}, {{Company}}, {{Band}}, {{Title_infobox}}, and {{Species}}, which are the main ones. I'll be discussing whether we also need to remove a couple of other ones later today, but the bulk of the changes have been made at this stage. Tommy-Macaroni 14:19, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- Just to make it clear for anyone wondering, having to clear up these pages as a result of the bot removing every instance of |members is far easier than doing everything by hand (both removing every instance of |members and fixing refs). The bot has removed |members from over 12000 pages, while only around 1500 pages have ref errors. So believe me, it's much easier this way. Thanks to everyone who's helping out fixing these. - All done. Good work everyone!
