Hi there,
I seem to have run into a stonewall while updating the Ezra Bridger article. I got this message:
- Warning: Your attempt to edit this article with the VisualEditor interface has resulted in mangled code, and thus has been blocked. Please try your edit again with a different editor. Source Editor can be accessed by clicking the menu icon to the left of the Cancel button and selecting Source Editor from that dropdown list.
- If you are not using the VisualEditor and have received this error, your edit contains improper formatting that is tyupical [sic] of VisualEditor edits. Fixing these will allow your edit to be saved. Common occurrences include:
- Using Crucible instead of the correct Crucible
- Using extraneous spaces in headers, such as == Appearances ==
I am fully aware that the page has been protected. As an established user, I have edited the page for several months with no problems. But today, it seems to be playing up. I'm definitely sure that I am not using VisualEditor. Perhaps, the system is a bit too sensitive. Can someone please look into this matter. Andykatib 09:12, March 18 2016 (UTC)
- I've run into those issues on occasion too. You want to get into touch with Cade Calrayn regarding that - he's the one who manages that filter and thus would be able to figure out what you're encountering those issues. ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:08, March 18, 2016 (UTC)
