Can a Force Ghost influence a physical enviroment? Meaning can they move things. If they can, do they have to learn like Patrick Swayze in Ghost? Riridadaecho7007Solo 06:49, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Anything's possible with the force! JadenKorr13 06:54, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Look here Exar Kun Chally1985 11:25, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, that was good info. Really the question came about after watching EP. 6 and seeing Obi-Wan walk around a tree. In doing so, he moved a hanging vine, just wanted to know if that was intentional.--Riridadaecho7007Solo 05:17, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Ajunta Pall could obviously affect the physical world, since you have to fight him if you pick the wrong blade in kotor. Soresumakashi 07:14, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Sith ghosts might be slightly different to light side Force ghosts though, as they tend to hang around buildings and/or people. Not just drift about where they like. Katana Geldar 10:22, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind, just got off the tele w/ol Georgie Lucas...the vine movement was intentional. The purpose was that one man may notice it 30 years later and wonder... —Unsigned comment by 206.53.238.241 (talk • contribs)

Well, since I got the Edit open right now... I'll ask a stupid question. Is it possible to exorcise a Force Ghost? I think it is, and I'm trying to remember who it was that was exorcised, but at the moment, the memory eludes me. Trak Nar Ramble on 06:38, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

That would depend on what you meant by "exorsize".If you mean get rid of, yes look at Exar Kun. If you mean redeem look at Ajunta Pall. A lot of Force ghosts will "go on" into the Netherworld of the Force as well, like Obi-Wan and Yoda. Katana Geldar 07:15, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Since we're on the subject of jedi ghost, how come qui-gon took so long from returning from the netherworld of the force but when obi-wan died, he immedietly started talking to luke? and also, how come luke can hear obi-wan when he's in the x-wing but episode III obi-wan can't hear his old master Qui-Gon?Sithmaster15 19:47, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Qui-Gon had to learn the technique from the Whills after he died. Yoda and Obi-Wan learned from Qui-Gon before they died. That's also why Qui-Gon left a corpse while Obi and Yoda vanished at death. -- SM-716 talk? 20:20, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

It's kinda funny isn't it? Ever since TPM we've been debating about why Qui-Gon doesn't disappear, and all the time we are aksing the wrong quetsion and should have been asking why Yoda and Obi-Wan did disappear. Katana Geldar 12:07, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

still asks who the Whills are, though. CmdrA-118 02:09, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

  • If we knew, it'd be in the Whill article. All we know is that they aren't Yoda's species. —Silly Dan (talk) 11:41, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
