Hey everyone,

In the various discussions about putting GAs on the Main Page, the idea came up of also adding a "Random Comprehensive article" to the Main Page's top-right box. So, let's make this small step in our continued quest to revamp the Main Page a reality. Currently, CAs aren't shown off to the casual reader at all, and this will, IMO, be a good way to keep them from simply collecting dust.

Since neither FAs and GAs capitalize the "a" in "articles," this CT also proposes changing the currently-capitalized "A"s in the Random article box to lowercase.

And, one more thing: this CT proposes the creation of Wookieepedia:Comprehensive articles/Random, and an update to Wookieepedia:Comprehensive_article_nominations/instructions to the effect that all newly-archived CAs should be added to the "Random" page. I'll volunteer to do this.

So, in summary:

  1. Create Wookieepedia:Comprehensive articles/Random (complete with every existing CA) and add a note to Wookieepedia:Comprehensive_article_nominations/instructions about adding newly-archived CAs to said page.
  2. Add "Random Comprehensive article" to the Main Page's Random article box.

  • I think the random FA and GA links should be removed, to be honest, or all three lists be merged into a "random article" group that includes only approved, comprehensive articles of any length.
