Hello friends, happy Saturday. Bringing this forward for the privacy policy. The relevant SH thread can be found here, a diff link can be found here, and the draft page itself can be found here. A detailed list of the rearranging that happened (changelog of sorts) is present on the SH so won't repeat here; tldr it's just older than rocks and still mentioned outdated info like "you can't change your username" when you actually can change it once now, and other stuff like mentioning CheckUser and RevisionDeletion pursuant to our other policies.
And then some trimming at suggestion of others since we're, in the end, following Fandom's policy, so all this is in addition to. The only other addition of note is the social media section, which mainly just serves to protect anyone who messages the social media accounts, same as we do for emails and DMs. But otherwise it's just a lot of rearranging because it was all a bit unwieldy before.—spookywillowwtalk 01:07, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
