A small bit from the WP:LG that's come up time and time again: we seem to have adopted a SA precedent that goes against the (general) guidance of the LG. While the LG does say "typically," thus allowing for some wiggle room. But over time I've seen a particular thing cause confusion—about how the first BTS is generally right-aligned even if it breaks the alternation pattern. Obviously, each article has its own needs and this proposed text allows for that too. But, it would explain it better than having to sort of after-the-fact explain to people why we do this when we (occasionally) have reverted edits to existing SAs whenever someone'd left align an image, assuming it should retain the pattern, when really it was intentionally placed on the right because it looks better.

Images should typically alternate from the right-side to the left-side. If there is a long infobox at the start, multiple images can be left aligned until the infobox ends.

In many cases, the first image in the "Behind the scenes" section of in-universe articles should be placed on the right-side for aesthetic reasons, even if the image immediately preceding it was also right aligned. However, this is by no means a hard requirement, as each article's individual needs should be considered.
