With the change in policy regarding the status of Good articles and the establishment of the AgriCorps, there is an increasing number of articles which now have the status of former good article. As a motivation to induce editors to restore these articles to good status, I propose that we adopt a new type of "award" userbox and attendant category: Wookieepedians who have restored articles to Good status, in addition to adopting the process of restoring a formerly good article to that status. A preliminary box has been created for your viewing pleasure:

GA-Icon-retro-frameless This user helped restore the article [[{{{1}}}]] to good status.


This is in keeping with the philosophy behind the userbox and category for Wookieepedians who have restored articles to Featured status, and as such, seems to be a logical addition to the community.--Goodwood Redstarbird (Alliance Intelligence) 21:51, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Do not adopt

  1. Find a way to occlude the unsightly light-gray shadow of the icon (I suggest a new image; otherwise making the box from scratch instead of using the {{userbox}} template might help) and I'll strike and approve. Graestan(Talk) 04:53, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
