As a follow up to the consensus decision reached here, in which we agreed to merge our various "List of" comic book pages into the main "Comic book" article with the general agreement to rename it to something more search-friendly, such as "Star Wars comic books" or "Star Wars comics," I am starting this forum. This CT vote is designed to determine how we will rename the Comic book page.
This vote will be organized as follows:
- Option 1 will include two sub-options. Choose whether you believe the Comic book page should be renamed Star Wars comic books or Star Wars comics. The ideal emphasis here should be what is best for SEO. By voting for either of the sub-options in Option 1, you are effectively voting in support of moving the page in some form; therefore, Option 1 will be a plurality vote (see here). This means that, assuming the totality of all Option 1 votes (the sum total of both of Option 1's two sub-options) outvotes Option 2 by the required consensus ratios, the page will be moved to whichever of Option 1's sub-options has the most votes. The "losing" Option 1 sub-option will then become a redirect to the "winning" sub-option.
- Option 2 is a simple oppose vote. Vote here if you believe the Comic book page should not be moved at all. This vote will only achieve consensus if it outvotes the totality of all votes under Option 1 (the sum total of both of Option 1's two sub-options) while also meeting the required consensus ratios.
Depending on the outcome of this forum, this will set a precedent for how to proceed on our other OOU media topic articles (novels, video games, etc.) Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:18, September 8, 2017 (UTC)
