The result of the debate was oppose moving CC-1119 to Appo. - Sikon 09:15, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I'm proposing that we move CC-1119 to his most known and common name, Appo, and do the same with other clone articles. It just feels more natural, since no one would look for "CC-1119" or other complicated clone designations such as "CT-0000/1010".
So, do we go for the known names, or the technical ones? Stake black msg 22:42, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Object
22:50, 2 April 2007 (UTC)- It redirects, and the designation [in this case, CC-1119] is more accurate. tzzA 22:51, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

- Per Imp's IRC comment: "Why go with the most popular name when we can have both completely accurate titles *and* redirects?" Gonk (Gonk!) 22:59, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- CC-1119 = official name given at "birth." Appo = adopted nickname, like Sidious, Tyranus, etc. —Xwing328(Talk) 23:00, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Real names, not nicknames. jSarek 23:02, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

- It was an actual change of name, rather than a nickname. He stopped going by Qymean and became Grievous, whereas Appo retained his designation as CC-1119. jSarek 17:19, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- CC-1119 prevents disambiguation. -- Riffsyphon1024 17:23, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I think this is a good idea. However, I think the CC-1119, and the designators for all the other clone troopers should remain in the title. Have them be like "CC-1119 'Appo'" or something like that. Then have "CC-1119" and "Appo" redirect the the proper article. - JMAS 22:53, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
