- "When I arrived on Koboh, I noticed a charlatan trying to swindle someone with Fool's Priorite."
"How'd you know?"
"He wore long sleeves in the heat."
"Sleight of hand, huh? I saw a merchant on Corellia do that."
"An old trick. Well, I stopped the sale. And Doma has been grateful ever since." - ―Tulakt and Cal Kestis
Fool's Priorite was a substance that could be passed off as priorite, a valueable mineral found on the planet Koboh. A charlatan at one point tried to sell Fool's Priorite as priorite to the merchant Doma Dendra of Dendra's Antiquities on Koboh. The fortune teller Tulakt stopped the sale after realizing that it was a con, having noticed that the seller was wearing long sleeves despite the heat in order to perform sleight of hand. Dendra was grateful to Tulakt for stopping her from buying the Fool's Priorite.[1]
In 9 BBY,[2] Tulakt told the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis about the attempted Fool's Priorite sale while at the cantina Pyloon's Saloon on Koboh.[1]
Behind the scenes
Fool's Priorite was mentioned in an optional conversation in the 2023 Respawn Entertainment video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.[1]
