- "Not that I could see—transport was attacked by the Uugteen. Such primitives, you know? They burned that thing good on the outside. Roasted it like a florakeet before plucking its feathers."
- ―Temmin Wexley
A florakeet was a type of feathered creature that could be roasted and plucked. When being questioned by thugs working for the gangster Surat Nuat on the planet Akiva[1] in 4 ABY,[2] the junk dealer Temmin Wexley claimed that a transport belonging to Nuat had been roasted and plucked like a florakeet by members of the Uugteen species prior to Wexley claiming its contents, which he falsely told them meant he had not known who owned the starship.[1]
Behind the scenes
Florakeets were mentioned in the 2015 novel Aftermath, which was written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
