Flight officer or Flight Officer was a rank in the Galactic Republic,[1] Galactic Empire,[4] and the Resistance.[3] The rank was used by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. During the Battle of Umbara, a flight officer reported to Jedi General Pong Krell that three starfighters had been launched.[1] Pilot Zin Graw of the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing held the rank of flight officer.[4] In 34 ABY, the rank was held by Huetrin Jones, a member of the Resistance who was stationed at the Resistance base on D'Qar during their evacuation of the base.[3]
