Flechette pistols were a class of pistol that fired needle-like projectiles called flechettes. Malaxan Firepower Incorporated's FWG-5 flechette pistol was one such weapon.[1]

Behind the scenes

Flechette pistols were first mentioned in the Star Wars canon in Knights of Fate, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2017.[2]
