Flare Five

Flare Five was the callsign assigned to the fifth pilot of the New Republic's Flare Squadron. During the Galactic Civil War, a pilot was designated this callsign during a battle with the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing over the planet Chadawa, but was killed when their X-wing starfighter was destroyed.^[1]
