First Lieutenant

First Lieutenant was a title carried by some Jedi during the Clone Wars as an assimilated rank. One notable holder of the rank was Anakin Skywalker.^[1]

This rank was also later used by the Galactic Empire, Chiss Ascendancy, Rebel Alliance and New Republic. In the Imperial Army, the next rank up was Captain.
