The firewolf was a creature known to the Chiss Ascendancy, the nation of the Chiss species. The Firewolf man-of-war, a warship class used by the Chiss Defense Force, was named for the creature. The firewolf was also represented as a piece in Tactica, a strategy board game played in the Ascendancy.[1]
Behind the scenes
The firewolf appeared as a piece of the in-universe Tactica board game in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, the final volume of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
