Wistie capsules,[3] also referred to as Wistie pouches,[1] were small containers[2] used by Ewoks during combat. These hand-crafted capsules were used to house dozens of Wisties,[1] sentient fairy-like flying beings[4] also native to the forest moon of Endor alongside the Ewoks.[5] These capsules could then be launched from slings in the direction of enemies where, upon contact, they would burst open, sending confused and angry Wisties in all directions. These Wisties would attack and burn anyone in the immediate vicinity, proving to be quite lethal, before eventually flying to freedom.[1]
