"The Rumble Race! Isn't that what you're here for?" - ―The Jedi and Lily Tora-Asi
A Force-sensitive human was a Jedi of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. Shortly before the Great Jedi Rumble Race[1] in 230 BBY,[2] they were present on the Starlight Beacon space station. When Jedi Knight Lily Tora-Asi and the younglings Nima Allets and Viv'Nia Nia'Viv visited Starlight Beacon to speak with Jedi Masters Stellan Gios and Arkoff, Allets pointed out a group of Jedi and suggested asking them about the Masters.[1]
Tora-Asi and the younglings approached the human Jedi, who assured them that the race had not yet started. When Tora-Asi asked about the race, the Jedi responded that they had thought she was there for the Rumble Race. Tora-Asi then explained that she was looking for Gios and Arkoff, and the Jedi informed her that they had not seen the Masters. The human Jedi wore Jedi apparel and had dark hair and light skin.[1]
Behind the scenes
The human Jedi appeared in the second volume of the Star Wars: The High Republic: The Edge of Balance manga series, written by Shima Shinya and Daniel José Older, illustrated by Mizuki Sakakibara, and published by Viz Media[1] on February 22, 2022, as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I.[3]
