The Gullet was the name used by Trandoshans to refer to a facility on the moon Lessa-7 where Wookiees utilized the stomach juices of a sarlacc to produce medicine. The facility was taken over by Trandoshans during the Imperial Era, with the Wookiees being enslaved to create chemical munitions. When the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca visited Lessa-7 to purchase corrosive charges from the Trandoshans for Jabba the Hutt, they learned of the Wookiees' plight and rescued them.[1]
