Garvish was an individual active during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[1] In 5 BBY,[2] the rebel Arvel Skeen caught his colleague Karis Nemik asleep on watch while the pair were part of an infiltration team on the planet Aldhani. After waking Nemik, Skeen warned him that if he had been caught sleeping on guard duty while working with Garvish, Mossy, or Saw Gerrera[1]—head of the Partisans[3]—then any of the trio would have impaled his head on a pike for a laugh.[1]

Garvish was mentioned in "Aldhani," the fourth episode of the first season of the Disney+ television series Star Wars: Andor,[1] which aired on September 28, 2022.[4]
