The Shield Generator Droid was a droid model used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars as support in combat situations. It was floating above the ground and was able to generate a deflector shield for it's allies and was also armed with a chin-mounted blaster. The droid came in five different colored variants—red, yellow, green, blue and purple—designated MK1-MK5.[1]
