"Rockstar Queen" was a song by the Twi'lek galactic superstar Gaya.^[2] In the year 34 ABY,^[3] Gaya, along with her keyboardist, Ouannii, performed the song live during the dining and entertainment event called An Evening with Gaya aboard the Halcyon starcruiser as a celebration of the vessel's 275th anniversary. During the performance, Gaya, with the help of her manager, Raithe Kole, and superfan Sandro Alimander, led the cruise patrons through a dance, coercing Lieutenant Harman Croy of the First Order to join along, much to his chagrin.^[2]

Behind the scenes

"Rockstar Queen" first appeared in the "An Evening with Gaya" dining experience as part of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser,^[2] an immersive roleplaying experience that launched at the Walt Disney World Resort on March 1, 2022.^[4] As part of the performance, Gaya led diners through a line dance consisting of three steps to the right and a clap, followed by three steps to the left and a clap, then four beats of body rolls facing the left while rotating one's arms around each other, and ending with the same while facing the right before looping back to the beginning.^[2] The song was made available for streaming as the sixth track on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (Original Soundtrack)^[1] on May 4, 2023. Walt Disney Imagineering collaborated with singer/songwriter Judith Hill to craft all the tracks on the album, including "Rockstar Queen."^[5] An Evening with Gaya had its last performance during the September 28–30 voyage of 2023, the final voyage before the closure of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.^[6]
