Replicator was the name given to a battle droid created by Mentor, the leader of the Directive 7 movement during the era of the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Replicator was a prototype droid based on fragments of a self-replicating droid technology that Mentor had discovered; Replicator was capable of breaking into multiple smaller versions of itself, which were also able to break apart and multiply. However, Replicator was destroyed on the moon Zadd during the collapse of the movement.[2]
