Pete Holmes (born c. 1980) is an American actor. He is a longtime Star Wars fan whose favorite film of the franchise is the 2016 Anthology Series film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Holmes has been interviewed on The Star Wars Show and also voiced the Gozzos Flobb and Fleez in the animated television series Star Wars Resistance in the episode "From Beneath," which aired on November 10, 2019.

Pete Holmes is an American actor[3] who was born around 1980.[1] He has been a Star Wars fan since his childhood, often enjoying picking out toys from the franchise at stores. His favorite Star Wars film is[4] the 2016 Anthology Series film[5] Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Holmes regretted never seeing the installment in theaters, noting that it was similar to[4] the 2018 Anthology Series film[5] Solo: A Star Wars Story in that both had very bright, well-lit action sequences in their third acts compared to the darker scenes present in Star Wars' original trilogy. On June 26, 2019, he appeared on The Star Wars Show hosted on the official Star Wars YouTube channel. Holmes and the show's host, Andi Gutierrez, discussed his love for Star Wars, his favorite film, and the Jedi Luke Skywalker's "hero's journey" as depicted in the original trilogy, particularly the young farmboy's exploration outside his comfort zone. The actor noted that Star Wars had filled many gaps in his life and had inspired some aspects of a book he had written.[4]

He voiced the Gozzos Flobb and Fleez in the animated television series Star Wars Resistance in "From Beneath,"[6] the sixth episode of the second season that premiered on November 10, 2019.[7] At times, as part of his work as a comedian, Holmes incorporates characters such as[8] the smuggler[5] Han Solo and[8] his Wookiee smuggling partner[5] Chewbacca into his jokes.[8] For his podcast, Holmes made a Star Wars–themed T-shirt referencing[3] the droid[5] C-3PO's name. However, not long after he began selling it, Lucasfilm sent him a cease and desist letter. Holmes found the situation extremely amusing, having only intended for the merchandise to be a joke.[3]
