"Now, speaking of great sums…I'm not a charity."
"
Arrr…"
"Obliged. Sagwa said he will meet you by the arena entrance.
"
―The Mirialan requesting payment from Chewbacca[1]

A Mirialan lived during the Imperial Era and was associated with the Wookiee Sagwa, who worked at the Garkata Fighting Arena on the Hutt Space moon Nar Shaddaa. In 3 ABY, Sagwa asked the Mirialan to meet with the rebels Chewbacca and C-3PO when they traveled to Nar Shaddaa to investigate a sighting of the bounty hunter Boba Fett, which Sagwa had informed Chewbacca of. Finding Chewbacca and C-3PO in Oruba Square, the Mirialan was paid by Chewbacca and informed the two that Sagwa would meet them at the arena's entrance, and then left.

Biography

"You must be Chewbacca and See-Threepio. Sagwa left a message for you."
"How did you know? We have been keeping a rather low profile."
"We don't get many Wookiees or gold-plated droids on this moon. Frankly I am surprised you made it this far…protocol droid parts fetch a good sum on the market."
"Oh my!"
―The Mirialan and C-3PO[1]

A Mirialan lived during the Imperial Era.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] they had come to be acquainted with Sagwa,[1] a Wookiee who worked as a guard at the Garkata Fighting Arena on the Smuggler's Moon Nar Shaddaa in Hutt Space.[3] That year,[2] Sagwa contacted his friend and fellow Wookiee Chewbacca, who was part of the Rebel Alliance, and informed him that there had been a sighting of Boba Fett—a bounty hunter who was in possession of Chewbacca's carbonite-encased friend Han Solo—on Nar Shaddaa.[3]

Following Sagwa's message, Chewbacca and several other rebels, including the protocol droid C-3PO, traveled to Nar Shaddaa to meet with Sagwa and gain information on Fett's location.[3] Sagwa instructed the Mirialan to meet with Chewbacca and C-3PO, and left a message with them to inform the rebels that he would meet them at the entrance of the arena. After the rebels arrived on the moon, the Mirialan found Chewbacca and C-3PO in Oruba Square[1] in Wormtown,[4] not far from the arena, and informed them that Sagwa had left a message for them. C-3PO asked the Mirialan how they had known who they were, as the pair had been attempting to keep a low profile, to which the Mirialan told the droid that Nar Shaddaa did not get many visits from gold-plated droids or Wookiees. They then expressed surprise that the two had made it as far as they had due to protocol droid parts yielding a good sum of money on the market, much to C-3PO's horror.[1]

The Mirialan then asked for payment for the information, and after Chewbacca obliged, the Mirialan thanked him and told the rebels of Sagwa's message that he would meet them at the arena's entrance. As the Mirialan did, an explosion hit the arena, and C-3PO mentioned that it had been alarmingly close to their location, to which the Mirialan stated "welcome to Nar Shaddaa." Afterward, the Mirialan departed,[1] and the rebels eventually met up with Sagwa at the arena.[3]
