Med nog was a medicinal beverage potable to humans that assisted in healing injuries.[1] In 5 BBY,[2] rebel network leader Luthen Rael shared a canteen of med nog with Cassian Andor,[1] a fugitive of the Galactic Empire, after the latter was injured by a blaster shot during an ambush on Ferrix.[3] Rael advised Andor to only take one sip, which he did before giving it back to Rael.[1]

Med nog appeared in "Aldhani," the fourth episode of the first season of the television series Star Wars: Andor,[1] which premiered on September 28, 2022.[4]
