A Beam Emitter was a component used on weapons such as the Ssi-ruuvi ion paddle beamer and various disruptor models. The emitter was the tip of the weapon's barrel, and extended out from the front of the weapon. On the paddle beamer, it was ahead of the Ion Focusing Coils and Discharge Nozzles and fired the weapon's ion beam. On disruptor weapons, it was located just ahead of the Acceleration Coils.[1]
