Unidentified grandfather (Asajj Ventress)

A Human male was a decorated former member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' military who had fought in the Clone Wars. After the war, he came to reside at a farm on a desert planet with his granddaughter, far away from the Galactic Empire. During this time, he came into conflict with a group of raiders over the water spring in the area, which led to him being wounded during a water run.^[1]

He and his granddaughter would later be visited by the Jedi Padawan Lyco Strata and the Dathomirian Nightsister Asajj Ventress, whom he recognized. The two were in search of Cipher Canyon to find the Hidden Path, but informed them of the raider conflict in the area. He would send them to retrieve water from the spring, which unexpectedly ended with Strata reaching an understanding with the raiders and returning with them to the farm. While the grandfather refused to reason with the raiders, saying they were still at war, Ventress would convince him to let go of his blaster and agree to share water with the raiders.^[1]
