A golden droideka owned by Zonus Corporation was at one point employed by businessman Jin-Sim Canbelon. The large droideka variant could be directly controlled by a human pilot. Canbelon used the droideka in his duel against the bounty hunter Sevn.[1]

The droideka first appeared in "The Bounty Hunters", a non-canon short film that is part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by WIT Studio, released on Disney+ on October 29, 2025.[1]
