Benzi was a human individual who served as an ISB tactical agent sergeant within the Galactic Empire.[1] In 1 BBY,[3] Benzi led an Imperial Security Bureau Tactical team to arrest and detain the individual Kleya Marki. However, while doing so, Benzi was[1] knocked unconscious[2] by the KX security droid K-2SO and left in an elevator.[1]
Behind the scenes
Benzi was portrayed by Louis Martin in the live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor, first appearing in "Who Else Knows?" and "Jedha, Kyber, Erso," the eleventh and twelfth episodes of the show's second season,[1][4] both of which aired on May 14, 2025.[5] The character was misspelled as "Bezni" in the subtitles for Disney+[6] along with the subtitles for another soldier who perished before him[2] being inserted for the sergeant.[6] Martin shared a behind the scenes look into his filming via social media.[7]
