"Crimson Bounty" is a short story that was co-written by Charlene Newcomb and Rich Handley. It was originally published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 14 by West End Games in August 1997.

Plot summary

The smuggling duo of Celia Durasha and Kaj Nedmak is once again in trouble due to Kaj's wheeling and dealing and gambling. Rather than smuggling illegal weapons for Bwahl the Hutt, Kaj delivers them to another gangster to settle a debt. This sets bounty hunters on his trail, including the deceptive and tenacious Thune. Thune captures Kaj and nearly apprehends Celia, but she is betrayed by Uthre, a protocol droid in Thune's employ. Free of Thune's pursuit, Kaj and Celia are reunited.

Continuity

Crimson Bounty is a sequel to A Certain Point of View.

It was originally set 0 ABY, however, in-text references to the story taking place 2 years after the events on the Kuari Princess in A Certain Point of View mean this tale has to take place in 2 ABY.
