- "I just uh, need a class eleven power core."
"And where exactly am I supposed to get that?"
"All kinds of places! Like, you know, Imperial compounds." - ―Waka to Kay Vess
A class 11 power core, was a type of power core that could transfer non-standard electric currents. Standard Imperial equipment during the Imperial Era was incompatible with that type of power core.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] at least one class 11 power core had been stored at the Imperial Comm Station on Toshara, a moon in the Outer Rim Territories. Waka, a Rodian mechanic on Toshara, sent Kay Vess to steal the power core from the base. After she stole the power core to the bases security office, Vess proceeded to the use it to access the wreckage of the Castellan, a High Republic Era ship that crashed on the moon.[1]
Behind the scenes
Class 11 power cores first appeared as a quest item as part of "The Wreck" main quest in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]
