Bong Dazo, born Angelo Ty Dazo, was a Filipino artist who penciled a number of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic comics, as well as The Force Unleashed graphic novel. He was born in Meycauayan, Bulacan in the Philippines. Before working on Star Wars comics, he was an illustrator for local Filipino comics and likewise introduced the first manga style in the Philippines in 1988 before working for Dark Horse on The Irregulars, written by Michael Reaves.[2]
Dazo passed away from liver cancer on June 29, 2018, less than two weeks after his fifty-third birthday.[3]
