Black Battalion was a military unit in the military of the Galactic Republic. During the Cold War it was commanded by Captain Eligyn and stationed inside the Balmorran Arms Factory on Balmorra. When the Sith apprentice of Darth Baras arrived to eliminate Commander Rylon, Black Battalion attempted to stop the Sith, but was wiped out.[1]
