The Andor family owned a FR-193D hauler from at least 24 BBY. By 5 BBY, it had become disused and was nonfunctional, but was kept by Cassian Andor as a hideaway.
History
Salvage runs
By 24 BBY,[4] spouses Clem and Maarva Carassi Andor used the hauler to transport themselves around the galaxy on salvage runs.[6] On one such trip, they traveled to the planet Kenari, where they encountered the nine-year-old[7] Kenari boy Kassa whom they later adopted and raised on their homeworld of Ferrix.[3]

By 5 BBY, the hauler was a wreck on Ferrix. Their adopted son Cassian would sleep in the wreck,[5] on the same sleeping berth he once sat on when leaving Kenari.[3] He concealed a stolen Imperial N-S9 Starpath Unit in a hidden compartment before attempting to sell it to Luthen Rael.[8]
Behind the scenes
The transport first appeared as a wreck in "Kassa," the first episode of Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor.[5] It first appeared functionally in a flashback in "Reckoning," the third episode of the series.[3]
