Skipper was a military title used in the Galactic Republic Navy[2] and Separatist Droid Army.[1] It also saw use as a leadership title akin to that of captain within pirate circles.[3] During the operation on Hissrich, after AD-W4 rejected several other rank titles, he was once addressed as a skipper.[1] A human going by the name Silvo acted as skipper and captain of a pirate crew[3] until he was mutinied against by his First Mate, Brutus, after a failed raid,[4] after which Brutus claimed the title of captain for himself.[3]
