"[customer yells and whimpers] Come on. Scram. [whimpering] And don't come back until you pay your debts, you deadbeat."
―A casino owner, to a customer — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[1]

At some point between around 62 BBY and 33 BBY,[3] a male[1] Rodian was present on Duro, where they visited[1] a secret casino[4] in the back of The Corner Shop. Ultimately, the individual was booted out through a door backing onto a dark street alley by the casino owner, who instructed the patron to scram, standing next to a Twi'lek companion. As the Rodian ran away, the kingpin screamed for them to warn them against coming back until they had paid all their debts. The indcident was witnessed by the two Duros[1] boys[2] Colby and Niro, who happened to have stood behind the casino owner's back the whole time.[1]

A green-skinned[1] male[2] Rodian with light-blue eyes, the customer was dressed in a white, sleeveless jacket worn over a light-blue top.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Rodian customer made their canonical debut in the "The Good Life," an episode of the animated television miniseries Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld,[1] which was released on May 4, 2025.[5]

  3. The events of "The Good Life" occur before Cad Bane takes up the life of a bounty hunter. According to Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious, Bane was estimated to be 41 years old in the year 7956 C.R.C., eleven years after the 7945 C.R.C. Boonta Eve Classic of Neva Kee's disappearance. As Star Wars: Timelines dates that race to 32 BBY, it can be calculated that Bane was born around the year 62 BBY. Furthermore, Darth Maul (2017) 3 shows that Bane is already a bounty hunter by the time of its events, which occur in 33 BBY according to Timelines. Therefore, the events of "The Good Life" must take place between c. 62 BBY and 33 BBY.
