Fila was a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire.[2] During or after 0 BBY,[1] she worked as a scout for the Rebel Alliance during a battle on the Outer Rim moon Shard.[2]
Partnered with the Alderaanian Rel, the two were tasked to scout a temporary base that the Imperials had erected. While on the mission, Fila was fatally shot by an Imperial sniper. Rel was unable to get to his partner's side as she lay dying alone in the snow. Two days later, Rel was determined to finish the mission, believing that not completing it would mean that Fila's sacrifice would have been for nothing.[2]
