The ships of the Open Circle Armada engage the Separatist Fleet above Coruscant.
The Fifth Fleet of the Open Circle Fleet was one of the smaller Republic sector fleets that operated under the banner of the Open Circle Fleet. In the closing days of the Clone Wars, a vanguard of the Fifth Fleet raced home from the Outer Rim Sieges to defend Coruscant from the Separatists' surprise attack.
In addition to sporting the familiar emblem of the armada, the warships of the Fifth Fleet were identified by five red stripes running down the dorsal wings.
It is not clear if this was the same Republic Navy Fifth Fleet, commanded by Ai-Ari Kuldi, that had previously operated in the area of Cularin.
